What's in our bars?

The ingredients used in Garage Brand Soap are second to none.

Sodium Hydroxide – Also known as lye, this is the ingredient that actually turns oils and butters into soap through a chemical reaction called saponification. It doesn't remain in the finished bar — it's fully converted into soap and glycerin during the process, leaving nothing caustic behind.

Shea Butter – We use refined, odor-free white shea butter that helps sooth and condition the skin.

Coconut Oil – 76 degree melt coconut oil is the second ingredient for all of our soaps. This is what gives you that good clean.

Olive Oil – Creamy lather. Extra Virgin.

Castor Oil – Adds a rich, stable lather and helps lock in extra moisture for a smoother bar.

Essential Oils – The essential oils I use in my products are exclusively Vinevida. They are all accredited and safe to use under IFRA regulation.

Fragrance Oil – Skin-safe fragrance oils give select bars their signature scent.

Mica Coloring – Cosmetic-grade mica gives each bar its color, purely for an aesthetic edge.
